At the International Division of Cegedim Insurance Solutions our mission is to enable Health Insurers to rapidly add value through our technology solutions.  Actisure is our award-winning product which has led us to become a leading worldwide supplier of software to health insurers. Actisure is an extensive platform consisting of Core back-office automation, Open API and integration suite and Digital solutions serving customers and all parties in the insurance value chain. 

We're recruiting an experienced Implementation Project Manager to work as part of our joint consultancy/client team, this client facing PM role involves a mixture of working from home, our Client's international sites and also the Bristol office. As Implementation PM, you will be responsible for planning and managing all our tasks whilst implementing our software, working with the Programme and Delivery manager and Clients' Project Managers to produce an overall delivery plan. You’ll be managing delivery of the process fitting workshops, the configuration of the software, and the delivery of enhancements. For our SaaS projects, this will include managing the delivery of production and non-production environments, the deployment of our solutions, the migration process, and the preparation of the supporting services.

What you'll be doing day to day:

  • Managing implementation projects of the cloud based solution and software for our clients (both new and existing)
  • Ensuring that our projects produce the required outputs, to the required standard of quality and the within the specified constraints of scope, time, and cost
  • Managing the project lifecycle from inception to completion using defined standard project lifecycle practices, artefacts, and methodology
  • You will be responsible for ensuring key project components are in place, including a Project Initiation Document, detailed project plan, RAID logs and associated project governance documentation
  •  Co-ordinating, directing and motivating internal and external resources assigned to the Project Team(s) including managing the relationship with clients, Consultancy partners and internal resources
  •  Assisting in the identification of resourcing requirements to ensure successful implementation
  • Agreeing roles and responsibilities for the project including the formation of an appropriate project governance structure
  •  Managing project risks including the development of contingency plans and effective escalation
  • Managing progress and project reporting including management of overall project budget and associated financial reporting needs

What we're looking for?

You will need to be a credible, highly confident individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills that ensures you build strong relationships, inspiring confidence in you and your team, the business and the delivery of the project. 

You will have a sound and demonstrable project management background and will be able to hit the ground running. You will be able to demonstrate practical experience of the following skills, preferably in the insurance industry or financial services.

You will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Significant software project management experience of full lifecycle software implementation
  • Proven experience in delivery of SaaS projects with good knowledge of technical infrastructure, environments, networks, security processes and associated compliance / regulation with associated service offerings to support SaaS model
  • A driven and enthusiastic with a ‘can-do’ attitude to get the job done in a practical and pragmatic fashion whilst keeping key stakeholders ‘on side’
  • The ability to work with stakeholders, internally and externally, at all levels from the customer’s CIO to developers
  • Strong problem solving skills with a pragmatic and tenacious attitude to seek out resolutions; ability to see challenges from both a customer’s perspective and from the company's perspective and to manage appropriately
  • An ability to quickly assimilate the commercial, functional and technical aspects of our product and the solutions we are designing and implementing

It would be a real advantage if you also have any of the following:

  • Experience in an Insurance environment or Financial Services
  • Experience in implementing software in complex IT integration landscapes on premise and Saas

  • Consulting experience working with external customers / partners

  • A relevant project management qualification, such as PRINCE 2

Office location and useful info

Our International Division strives to be a non-hierarchical company, with a friendly, can-do culture where challenging work and talent is recognised and rewarded. We employ c.80 employees mostly based out of our office in Bristol, along with some consultants working in locations around the world from home or on client sites. We have recently moved into a brand new office within the Programme building at The Pithay in central Bristol. The office space has been designed and fitted out specifically to our requirements to ensure a highly functional, flexible and comfortable working environment, whether hot-desking, having stand-ups, or more formal/confidential meetings. There’s an NCP car park at the rear of the block and there’s great access to public transport routes with bus stops within a few steps of the building, the train station; Bristol Temple Meads is approx. 10-15 walk. There’s also secure bike storage and excellent showers to freshen up after a bike ride, gym class or run. We’re close to lots of restaurants, coffee shops, gyms and shops as well as being just a short walk from the Castle Park and Harbourside areas. We are a friendly team, with regular social lunch or after-work activities as well as work-related events; town halls or conferences, both in person and online. We have a smart casual dress code.
